Georgia Business Planning
In addition, I also help start businesses, dissolve businesses, and reorganize businesses, in a way that best balances my client’s asset protection needs with his or her tax minimization needs. This balancing between asset protection and taxation can be confusing without the help of a qualified attorney such as myself. Choosing the right kind of organization to form and choosing how to fund the organization are cloudy areas that my assistance will help crystallize.

Passing the Family Business from one generation to another can be a significant taxable event as well as an important step in legacy planning. Creating a legacy through the family business is paramount. Planning now to make sure your family business survives through multiple generations is a must. Such hopes often create major tax problems during transfer, either during life or after death. A good business always plans for the future. Similar to your Wills and Trusts, your business needs a succession plan. Please contact me to help your business survive.

Contract Creation and Negotiation
I also write and negotiate contracts of all types, including prenuptial agreements, postnuptial agreements, trust agreements, sales contracts, real estate contracts, 1031 exchanges, settlement contracts, employment contracts, loan agreements, and any other contract that may be needed. Note that I also will weigh the tax implications of the contract for my clients. Although the tax implications may not be at the forefront of my client’s focus when negotiating a contract, negative or positive tax implications almost always weighed heavily in determining terms of contracts.
